Contact lists

Contact lists are special folders for maintaining contact information about peo­ple relevant to you. The contact data of a person are stored in a contact object. Contact lists contain only such contact objects. Contact lists may be created in arbitrary folders so that you are able to maintain contact information in the context of a certain workspace – also about persons who are not members of this workspace or not even users of your BSCW server. The re­pres­en­ta­tion of a contact list is very similar to that of a members’ page.

You create a new empty contact list as follows.

      Select  File    New    Contact List  in the top menu and enter name and optional tags and descrip­tion of the contact list.

You change name, tags and description of a contact list as follows.

      Select action  Change    Properties  in the action menu of the contact list and enter your changes.
